President Wang Weilin said the FAHZU is fully prepared to provide first-rate medical and healthcare services for the 2016 G20 summit.
Wang made the remarks at a meeting held in the Hospital on Monday in a bid to further perfect the preparatory work.
The president said that, while all staff of the Hospital are fully mobilized for the "big event",measures have been implemented to provide guaranteed medical and health care service for state leaders from various countries and all people attending the summit.
The 2016 G20 summit will be held in September in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, where the Hospital is based.
Chen Weidong, director of a department under the provincial health administration that administers medical service and public health work for large events, said the Hospital is duty-bound to service the G20 summit as it abounds in medical expertise and is experienced with such missions.
The director stressed the "demanding" requirements for responding to health emergencies during large events, and encouraged the medical workers to "fulfill the obligatory mission with confidence, determination and a high sense of responsibility".
Chen also made a lecture during the meeting on how to best provide the medical and health care service when large events are taking place.
