A Russian team led by Vice Consul General Alexey Tamara from the Russian consulate in China came to FAHZU on Saturday with some gifts to express their thanks for the Hospital's service provided to the Russian delegation during the G20 Summit in Hangzhou.
Earlier at the end of August and last Friday the Russian health care team inspected FAHZU and decided that the Hospital be the medical service provider for Russian delegation attending the summit of world leaders.
The gifts were presented also in appreciation of FAHZU's high sense of responsibility and outstanding medical expertise, which left a deep impression on the Russian officials and doctors.
"We have been to the United States, Britain and many other places around the world, and we have been to many hospitals. Your hospital has left a particularly deep impression on us," Tamara told FAHZU President Wang Weilin.
Wang and other Hospital leaders and doctors answered many questions the Russian team raised, all to their satisfaction, during their two careful and rigorous inspections.
The Russian team nodded their appreciation when they learned that FAHZU has so far conducted about 2,000 liver transplants and 4,700 kidney transplants. "Yours is a very good and advanced hospital, much better than we have expected," they said.
The Russian team extended a warm invitation to President Wang, hoping he will lead an FAHZU team to visit Russia for medical cooperation.
