浙江大学转化医学研究院教授,浙江大学王宽诚杰出讲席教授,浙江省引进培育领军型创新创业团队领军人才。原任美国MD安德森癌症中心Ruby E.Rutherford杰出讲席终身教授、肿瘤代谢中心创始主任。吕教授是肿瘤学和细胞信号转导研究领域国际知名的杰出科学家,对肿瘤细胞能量代谢的研究取得了开创性、系统性的重要成果,在国际上首次揭示了多种代谢酶具有蛋白激酶活性,首次系统性地阐明了生长因子受体促进 Warburg 效应的调控机制,率先证实了多种代谢酶和代谢物在肿瘤细胞活动调控中具有重要的非代谢功能。

       吕志民教授2013年获得M.D.安德森癌症中心Potu N. Rao基础科学卓越奖、2016年获得M.D.安德森癌症中心Dallas/Fort Worth传奇人物基础研究成就奖、2017年当选美国科学促进会(AAAS)会士。2021年当选欧洲科学院Academia Europaea外籍院士。受邀担任精准医学杂志荣誉主编,Visualized Cancer Medicine 主编,Journal of National Cancer Center副主编, Cell Research、The Journal of Biological Chemistry等10余个期刊的编委。

      吕志民教授先后在Nature(4篇)、Cell(2篇)、Nature Cell Biology(5篇)、Molecular Cell(15篇)、Cancer Cell、Cancer Discovery、Cell Metabolism、Nature Reviews Molecular Cell Biology等发表论文100多篇,其中在Cell、Nature、Science系列杂志中发表论文40余篇。其原创性里程碑发现深刻影响了业界对肿瘤代谢的认识,同时也对开拓新的肿瘤诊治方法提供了创新理论支持。
